Subject: RE: Adding scales to older GP box drill

Alma NE
I have no idea about putting scales on a Great Plains or any box that has more than one box .
But wouldn’t be without them I put a set in’s 750 prob 7 years ago and scales on a 1990ccs air seeder still own both drills and use them without any problems.

You wouldn’t believe how much difference there is even in different batches of the same treated seed on how much one will flow more than the other adjusting the seeding rate without even touching the settings. I keep track of every load in the drill and the seeding rate. All day everyday I’m drilling.

If your planning on soybeans or cover crops it will pay for itself in no time at all. You can be dialed in within 10 acres
