NW Iowa | I'll bet it was a feeling of relief when it was found. How long does a fob battery last? We bought our first push button start van four years ago and the fobs have not run out of juice yet. One of the fobs has been in the van in our attached garage full time for four years and so far it works on the original battery. In this van there is a narrow place my cell phone can slide down into between the driver's seat and the console. It's very hard to see down there and the ringer is usually off on my phone so we can't ring it to find it. My wife found it the first time it ended up down there so now we know where to look. If I can't find the phone anywhere I have a general idea of location if it still rings through my hearing aids. If it rings through the hearing aids at least I know it is close by. | |
