They could do some spectacular blow-ups. When I was at the JD shop, a farmer that had a lot of "Southern" help called & said his 720 pony was really weak, barely able to get the Diesel going...we hauled it in & tore it down, & there was only one rod & piston still connected. The other 3 were ground into pieces in the bottom...
