ECMN | The exhaust went through the intake air heat exchanger like Mike said before exiting you just weren’t aware of its routing. I tried to find it on the online parts diagrams to show you, either the cranking engine had some separate parts book or I just don’t know where to look. The online parts catalogs for older Deeres are just PDF copies. They also had electric start versions. A lot of “show” tractors are converted to electric start due to the difficulty to source parts for the gas cranking engines. Also they are only brought out in fair weather.
