Subject: Another irrigation question (Scottsbluff NE)

N.C. IA
A few years back, fall of 20 or 21, I was visiting with a farmer from near Scottsbluff. He was telling me about a water main/tunnel through a mountain that supplied irrigation water that collapsed. Said the structure was 100 years old. We didn’t visit very long because he had a long drive and I was busy with harvest, but I always wondered how big of an area was affected and when/if they repaired the tunnel. I just know he said they had good crops that first year because rainfall was above average. Any info? Thanks
