Don't you use Butyrac on new alfalfa seedings?  Standard practice here for alfalfa seedlings.  Works great on lambsquarters.  Also, Pursuit works great on pigweed here.  I presume if you have (say) "pigweed",then it is not ALS-resistant. If it is ALS-resistant, Pursuit would not work, but Butyrac should.

When I say "Pursuit" , that would include Raptor, or new name for Raptor.
