Northwest Iowa | I know the accumulators we do are built off of options. Selling puts, calls, buying puts calls, etc. I have asked for more explanation on how to do it in my own brokerage so I can manage the actual physical bushels better. It literally I think is rocket science because there was no real great way to reenact it on my own. Saying that, yes you are right there are endless concoctions of them. If guys fully understand them, the best way to use them is starting them out 2 years plus from physical delivery of grain. Low chances of “doubling” bushels and get market premium above the market. We work with weekly double up accumulators the most. | |
