I think they were a few ponies short of an 856.
A pretty rare tractor though.
There were quite a few 886 in these parts back in the day. A 966-986 was more of the 856 replacement. There was a stout 856 in these parts that pulled a 6-16” plow doing custom plowing back in the 70s. We had a 966 that couldn’t hold a candle to that thing. It didn’t have a turbo either. We had a M&W setup on our 966 then the clutch and traction became a problem. It had 18.4 34 rubber.
