NW Illinois | Almost two years ago, I had to buy a new computer because my previous computer started not working very well. Probably got 10 years out of the previous computer. New computer has to be unplugged quite often to get it working again. Nothing is made like stuff was made years ago! My "new" computer came with McAfee security on it, free for the first year. I purchased it again for the second year. Previous computer I always purchased Norton to help secure things on that computer. The thing McAfee does a lot now, it has these warning things pop up. When I click on it, it just takes me somewhere to purchase more "security" from them. Becoming kind of annoying. Never happened back when I had Norton security. What do you guys use to secure things on your computers? And does Norton now also have things pop up and they try to sell you more things? Thanks! | |
