I tried to search to see if this had been brought up and nothing popped up, so here goes!....

Bought a new Epson FF-680W photo scanner. Have had it for a week or so, but just tried getting it going today. I can't convince my laptop to "find" it to connect to my internet. Have followed the big fold-up Get Started sheet a couple times, both wireless and with a USB connection. All goes well till the search function in the install bug looks for the scanner and it simply never completes the connection. What am I missing, any ideas? Thanks!!!
