Deere StarFire 7000/7500 GPS receivers with RTK Permanent License can utilize CORS RTK through an add-on modem or other device

If you're going to mix brands, at least staying on the same correction source would be great advice

Others are more knowledgeable than me on Deere systems, and sounds like you have a fair amount of the necessary pieces that going all in on Deere might be best. Historically, Deeres guidance lines were a bit different than everyone else’s, so a mixed fleet was not always straightforward. From what I’ve read on here, maybe Deere has an option to make/use guidance lines on the same orientation, but kind of irrelevant if you go all Deere.

As far as rtk, it looks like Michigan has a state run free CORS system. I would recommend going that way from the gitgo and make good field boundaries. With everyone but Deere, this would be relatively easy as long as decent cell phone reception in your fields.

Someone can chime in if the newest Deere gps receivers can work directly with a CORS system. Other option is an Agragps gps receiver as they work with a cors network and Deere steering systems. No personal experience, but you’ll find other threads on them. I’m all ag leader now, had older trimble stuff before. Nice part about going rtk and a cors network, no subscription fees and the best accuracy available (other than a dedicated base station in the field with you).
