Females and small breeds are the hardest to house train, Golden Doodle isn't small obviously.

Best way to train them is to kennel them, and always take them straight from the kennel to outside. They won't mess in their kennel (unless it's too large, need to solve that problem) and will need to relieve themselves when let out, which is why you have them outside. Reward with a treat or get all excited for them.

Overdo it with taking them outside after eating, after sleeping, after playing. Take them outside 2x as much as you think they need until they get the plan down. Puppies shouldn't be "unattended" in general to avoid trouble and bad habits but if you're not keeping an eye on them they'll find a spot to go inside.

People who don't crate train their dogs and let them roam free 24-7 will have a hard time potty training.
