Eastern NE KS | I may have this all wrong but I sure would like to know what type of open interest is driving the CME.
If 'funds' are selling short, the their bet is cattle will break and they will buy back much cheaper than they sold today. The folks buying long are hedging the opposite way and capping future expenses.
If the funds are buying long, supposedly driving the prices higher short term. Then plan on selling their position at a artificial peak, how come the board has been less than cash?
What play do the speculators (finds) have in this game because I cannot see it very well? | |
