North of London | Not sure what you are using on the computer but why not cut out one step and just enter in the computer.
If you need/want a paper copy print it from computer record.
If you still want a paper copy like the old account books you should be able to buy an old style ledger book from an office supply OR create your own identical ledger book in a spreadsheet. That was my first step away from ledger book back in the 1980ies and it was much easier to enter and balance than the paper book.
Calculations happened immediately so any error in entry of especially split entries were found quick and easily rather than showing up at the end of a month or page full when columns did not balance
Used to be spreadsheets available to download or easy to set up the rather simple ledger book.
I might even have an old copy of the sheet I used. | |
