Just make sure you support the very front of tractor under weight bracket with a stand that rolls. They are front heavy and can flip. I've done a few with a stand that rolls under the trans and a transmission jack and blocks under the front end weight bracket. And a couple bottle Jack's under the intermediate housing to hold the rear tractor.


We usually just remove the weights or ask the owner to remove them before they bring it in if we think of it. We have already used a forklift to support the front end while we roll it.

Had a helper one time that didn't remove them on a older IH (856??) and everything was fine until he removed the flywheel. It didn't wreck anything but it sure got his attention, I bet he never made that mistake again.
