Western-Central Lower Michigan | In my early teens, I suffered a lot with bad back between my shoulder blades. This was from Dairy farm carrying large buckets of milk to the milkhouse/cooler and the heavy weight on one side would give me issues with severe back pain from time to time. I got very familiar with going to a Chiro to get it fixed.
After I left the farm for my Military service, I had virtually zero back issues. Im 76 now, and can pretty well say Im glad I left the farm and took a different path in my working life.
I do work as a "steering wheel holder" for my neighbor doing tillage/grain cart duties. Plenty of tillage as farmer is a full tillage guy. I get all the tractor driving I want and then some. |
