I highly recommend LG Smart Siding, it is a wood composite. it holds paint extremely well and comes in different widths. It has several advantages over Hardi Plank, such as lighter, use regular tools, can use a nail gun to install and best of all...it doesn't break in pieces like Hardi Plank.
