Yes they will use them might take a day or 2 till they figure it out. Some will chew on it. Easiest way I have found to do it is to attach all the strips to a 2x4. Then either bolt up or have hooks the 2x4 can sit on. So you can put it up and take it down easily and it’s ready for next winter
