| Hey Survivor, my first truck was a 77 Mack ,285 HP, 2stick 6speed, camelback 44k, about 190WB, no AC or radio. I was so proud. The only advice I got when I started shopping was to make sure I got something with power steering. It was a good truck and served me well. When you hit a bump in the road it would jump off the road, and you learned which way to cheat on the steering wheel for when it landed. I took it to the diesel shop to get something done once and they drove it home for me. My friend fell out of it and said never again. To the OP, the only way to know what you want is to get in and drive a lot of trucks. The one you feel good behind the wheel of, that's the one, just that simple | |
