McCanna, ND | To open of a question as you’ve already gathered I’m guessing. Either set up as light an outfit as possible, or one to haul the max legal allowed weight in your state. We have a 24k empty weight combo and our big truck combo we have is 32.5k.
24k truck is legal for 80k=56k lb payload.
32.5k truck is legal for 105.5k with permits which gets to 73k but that’s 1300bu of corn which is 5k bushels in 4 loads.
The 28-30k lb Pete’s pulling 40-42’ hoppers look cool, but the light weight trucks will make more money | |
