NW Indiana | 2024 Jan wasde showed old crop carryout at 2162 while this years showed 1540. We set a 4.66 insurance price last year but essentially declined all year into harvest. The market is going to have to chew through sales because the psychology is different with everyone holding out last year vs the eagerness to get sales on the books this year. I would put the odds of a normal seasonal high this year in the may/june/july timeframe at very high. | |
