Wife and I just returned after a month in Costa Rica- great country but +40 Celsius is a little hard on an ol'boy just coming away from -40C here in Canada!
Central America real estate has been hit quite hard by the recession- a vacation home seems quite a luxury when house #1 is underwater.
Seemed every second person we met was a female American real estate agent re-located from California-and wanting to know our North America home number because they could offer us "a lot better deal on a rental for next year" if we would just commit now.
But Panama was the Eldorado, A new 70 story residential complex was opening "soon" in Panama City with Donald Trump a "participant" and un-named Dubai financiers as principals.
No mention of Greek or Spanish Govt involvement! | |
