Cherokee County, Northwest Iowa | I bet you have some friend that would gladly drive you (in your car) 2 hours to the airport and back home, twice, if you would ask them. Even if it is darn early. Think how nice it will be when you get back to the Des Moines Airport, to be met by your friend in your nice, warmed up car, instead of scraping 8 inches of ice and snow off your vehicle somewhere, maybe a low tire, maybe a dead battery (as they say, Been There, Done That). Granted, it puts an extra 240 miles on your car, but it will be stored at home inside a nice, safe place while you are gone. Slip your friend some cash, and buy him or her supper on the way home, everybody wins!!! |
