First and foremost make sure its not seed born. If you had troubles with that disease last year, more than likely the growers produced certified or registered seed were having the same issues. Don't bring it with to the field if you can avoid it. After that it's all timing. You have warm and wet around flowing time, better be looking at getting that application on.
