| As much as I dislike the big Ag retail or distribution companies, they do an extremely good job of preying on peoples emotions of "losing out." I've tried every seed "safe" liquid starter available in my area. I can see, especially phosphorus and zinc, show up in higher tissue sample levels. But every year those products run out of gas and many times the phosphorus or zinc levels will drop below untreated levels. Those levels will return or catch back up later in the season. The seed doesn't need the nutrition, the roots do. Put fertilizer where roots grow. I believe liquid fertilizer has it's place. Just not with seed. | |
