Central Alabama | I don't care how thick you plant cotton if conditions are not right for the first 36-hours of taking in water not going to be good it just rots.
I have done 2 on 13-inches and been ok but I like 2 on 10-12 inches myself. I do not like limby cotton that's hard to get up and pick. You want to get as many fruiting position out there as you can, and the easy way is with more plants unless you have a longer growing season.
I was told if the dicamba is not approved we may get a $40 a bag rebate this year. | |
