I’ve planted corn 1.5” and corn at 2”. Have had good corn both ways. I’ve had corn planted 2” get crusted and not come up. If in tilled ground and especially if it’s some what rough, will plant 2. We notill all last couple years and shoot for 1.75, 2 absolute max.
