West of Mpls MN about 50 miles on Hwy 12 | And to think farmers actually pay big money for all of these data mining "services" disguised as "efficiency."
A couple evenings ago I watched one of the YouTube farmers almost new combine throw an engine rod threw the oil pan this fall...I thought the combine was supposed to automatically tell doctor Deere it's engine was sick and shut the machine down preventing a catastrophic...costly breakdown like that.
At least doctor Deere knew within a foot or two where to send a boom truck to pull the engine and how much grain was in the grain tank and how many acres were covered to harvest that amount of grain...I assume to make sure that the YouTube farmer had enough grain in the grain tank to pay for the service call and repair before sending the boom truck.
Makes a person wonder how farmers ever survived without it...Is it all really "worth" it?
