West of Mpls MN about 50 miles on Hwy 12 | Not a bad idea. The idea won't generate all of the energy requirements of the aircraft, but might extend the range of the aircraft a little.
I would use some type of turbine generator instead of a propellor, they could mount a turbine electrical generator in the tail of the aircraft as well...wait, they have already been doing that for decades.
