Subject: RE: Incommand Go 16 trade in/upgrade experience so far

Near Intersection of I-35 & I-90 Southern Mn.
In most of my vehicles, I prefer to put any display up high in a corner to avoid glare. I typically use a RAM mount for my InCommand 1200's. I do need to tighten the Ram coupler down very tight to hold the InCommand in place. It is quite common to see that the display has crept down after a long period on nonuse.

Since the GO displays are much heavier, I'm not very confident about trying to use one with my RAM mount arrangement. At the moment, I see no reason to move on to a GO display especially since we have two situations that use an App Rate Module which the GO does not support.

My combine is a Deere 9770. I purchased it used. It had/has the Deere pipe type mount for the Deere displays. I was able to disassemble it somewhat and bolt on a RAM mount ball on the pipe framework. I use a short RAM coupling arm to my InCommand 1200. This keeps the display up and prevents glare. Since the GO is larger, I am afraid that the size might be such that I would hit my head as I sat down. Having a larger screen would actually be undesirable with my mount. Besides hitting it with my head, I feel it might be too close to read easily.
