Subject: Humic Acid, Fulvic Acid, where and when to use?

South Central Illinois

What soil conditions benefit from Humic Acid applications?
I presume that CEC and organic matter are the top two concerns.
At what level are the CEC’s and OM sufficient that they do not respond to Humic Acid applications?
Maybe there are other factors?
Seems like Fulvic Acid is mostly used for foliar applications.
Maybe with herbicide and fertilizer applications?
What herbicide and fertilizer combinations benefit from the addition of Fulvic Acid?
