Did all of the fire roads get abandoned 25 years ago? Did some mouse or rat win a protected status requiring the fire roads be reverted to their natural status? Numerous insurance companies have dropped coverage for parts or all of California. Really need to have a consortium of insurance companies on a zoning board to determine how to create fire barriers.
