Subject: Types and forms of boron per application type

20 Miles West of Indianapolis Indiana
Talking to some agronomist and sales reps about boron leave me with more questions than answers.

Is a pound a pound of boron per type if we can agree not all nitrogen types are correct for type/time of app?

Seems to be just as many types of boron as there are nitrogen for example.

What type(s) of boron would be the best choice for these specific conditions for each corn and soybeans?

1. Pre plant dry worked in? Or liquid worked in

2. Pre plant dry or liquid laid on top pre plant or post plant via burndown/pre app

3. Via liquid side dress knife on corn

4. Post chem app or corn or soybeans foliar

5. Later foliar app on corn let’s say around V7/8 timing

6. Soybean fungicide timing foliar

7. Corn foliar around VT with fungicide

8. Corn foliar around R3 with fungicide

Can anyone be of any help on some of these decisions and why you’d use this type of boron or product at that certain time?
