North Central South Dakota		Is the repeater what gives you such long range or do you have different models available than what our local dealer offers? We checked in with them last week and they said the digital Kenwood would give us 8-10 miles. We had bought the $100 Midland walkie talkies this year which falsely advertise 40 mile range on the box but give you about 1 mile max. Handhelds sound good but way too easy to forget to grab them from shop, the batteries don't last and they fall out of your pocket when walking through corn stalks haha. We miss the old CB's in every machine and truck.
