There's a lot of information needed to give any kind of an answer to that. The best answer is going to be something compatible with what you have now. Or maybe it should be the one that does what you need.
For us VHF simplex and cell phones is the best system. We use the radios in the field and nearby, with the phone if they are a distance away. But we've had a license since 1975.
GMRS is a good choice for a small family run operation if you are comfortable doing your own installation. But having said that, I prefer a licensed business system. GMRS requires a license, but it isn't quite the same.
If you want to be able to talk to the truck 30 miles way and everyone hear everything being said you want a repeater, these days it will probably be a trucking system | |
