Malta, Illinois | I used to feel safe in the downtown areas and in Wrigleyville. Not anymore. Too much random violence everywhere. We used to feel safe taking the train into the city and taking cabs or Ubers. With what has happened with crime and politics in the past five years it isn’t worth it. I would do as someone else said. Park at a Metra station out in the suburbs and take the train into the city. Parking in the city is a major hassle and very expensive. High risk of theft or vandalism as well. | |
