My recommendation is going to be a different. Go on ebay and see what you can find. Ideally a lot that has been pulled from service like fire or police department. See if they are the same frequency or see if the seller offers programming. I have been buying individual radios anywhere from 40 to 150 dollars. Antenna is another 50 to 100 dollars. You will need to apply for an FCC license which will also need to include a frequency coordinator to see what is available in your area of operation. Keep in mind radios are build specific for a range of frequencies. All radios you buy will need to be a specific model number that works in your frequency range.

Our farm uses a low band frequency (30 to 50 mhz) for over 50 years. Would not want to farm without radios in every vehicle. It is right up there with autosteer. With our motorola radios which vary from 40 to 100 Watts output, we get anywhere from 5 to 20 range.

This works for me since I have the license and equipment from way back when. It has been cheap for me to add to my system. Newer non FCC license required radios may be just what you need. Personally do not have any experience with these.
