I am looking at 13x85 swing hopper augers and some are listed with total bushels they have moved. I am trying to decide how much to discount an auger that has moved 50k or 100k or 200k bushels. How many bushels will an auger move before the main flighting and tube is shot and it is scrap? I'm sure wet vs dry corn vs beans will make a big difference but just figure mostly wet corn and 3/4 corn 1/4 beans on a normal corn bean farm.
