What I couldn't convince the "ex" to do was triple check her pockets of jeans going into the washer... I think over the period of about 5 yrs, I had to take the dryer down, walk the washer out of the porch door (I turned a 3 season into a 4 season porch, wood floor with no drain) to be able to open the door to drain it.
What happens on a front load, there is no real tight seal to keep coins, barrettes, etc from getting from the drum into the sump for the drain pump. The coins, etc stop the pump and it won't pump out until you physically remove them by hand.
Hopefully you have a less forgetful of a partner than I had. No fun in the middle of MN winter standing out on the deck digging wet clothes out to get the washer to drain normal. | |
