I worked (interned) summer on the Johnson Iowa farm that year. Worked with the Charlais and Red Angus herds. They dispersed the herds that fall and tore out all the fences and buildings.
Edit..As a side note Monsanto and Dekalb also sold boars during the 60's and 70's.
