Southern Missouri | Maturity can become a big factor in my opinion when you think population on cotton , have a good long season , thin wil make as good , cool spring, cool summer, early fall ? It won’t , for it to do as good as thicker populations it has to put fruit further out on branches or put on more branches, either one takes a little time , long season no problem, short season, problem, doesn’t take a little drop in population to save a lot in seed , doesn’t take much yield decrease to have paid for the extra seed ( even at the sorry butt price we have now ) | |
