I  bought a Roku streaming device yesterday and installed it.

One of the things that makes me nervous.... they want a credit card or payment method during installation. I could not finish installation without it.

Question: Does Roku include free trials which automatically roll over to paid subscriptions?  I thought I noticed Apple TV, and maybe a couple of others?  During setup, I don't believe I selected any paid subscriptions.  In my account, it says that I don't have any subscriptions. However, I don't know if this includes free trials.  How can I be confident that I am not getting something that I don't want?
