I had heard that you cannot use salt water to fight fires. I go yes the Na can cause problems with the soil but......
I then saw on youtube a airplane that loads by skimming the water and loading the plane to fight the fires in LA. I would agree salt water is better than no water. I bet this took a while to get approved and that is the problem.
