| So I don't know a lot, but it's most cowboys dream to load up on wagon and spend a year or two at the Wine Cup. When you get tired of living in a teppee in the Sagebrush. They move on, no calf tables used on the place, true buckaroo outfit.
I dont know whose is manager, but couple years ago when we lost 20% calves to worst calving we ever had. Rumor was Wine Cup had cattle snowed in. Manager too lazy to bring dozer in and clean roads to get cattle out. I heard reported rumors 800+ cattle holed up and died. Those rumors started some place.
So you guys run the numbers on value on place and return on your investment. Here current owner is trying a land trade on land, trying to go right to congress to get it done. Figure may be 2,000 head of cattle and run the numbers. I figured those calves born June-July. I didn't recognize the names of reps handling the listing.
Like MU said lite your corties and shoot a few shots.

You have to make sure you read news article to the end and see big picture of why the ranch wants to trade land.
