If the non-JD tractor will do it, the different size planter to corn head works here with AutoPath. It's as much the implement guidance that's working at the same time as the AP as it is the "autopath" making things more aligned. 

Implement guidance plus AP, which you run at the same time since you already have all of what's required for both is what makes it work well. Here there are 8 row heads and 12 row planters, 16 row planters and 12 row heads, etc.
