Tablerock Ranch eastern Wa | I would love to know the biz model for their decision to wean off these Sept calves, Biggest ranch in the country, unending resources, and you pull 300 pound calves off? Ranch for sale again? pull the calves and sell the cow herd as bred fall calvers in March? could make sense I guess, $3250 bred cow + 1700 dollar in the bank of the calf for a total of close to 5k instead of $3700 dollar pairs now??????????? I am at a loss for what is happening on that ranch..... Super late spring calves, cows don't conform now is the time to clean things up? maybe they held the bulls off those late cows and back to spring turnout ????????????????????????????????????? sheeesh I thought I have seen most angles?
