I had a 990 decades ago . It was quite a decent tractor except for the weak steering system.i can remember taking the column apart and finding some like sized ball bearings to roll into the odd as heck swivel shaft that turned the arm that went to the even more odd hydraulic cylinder on the front end, only god kept you from the other lane on the roads here.had to get rid of before a crew member got killed. Super easy on fuel, great rear end ratios, super diff lock, I think one crankshaft I put in when one split, nothing else broke just crank, old guys on crew reminiscent on its can’t get stuck even as 2wd
