N E Illinois | I’ve got a tank gas fired heater installed in 1991.
Never gave a bit of trouble.
I’ve tried flushing it out to get lime off the bottom. We now have a good softner but still have lime in hot water.
Can I use muriatic acid to assist the clean out?
Don’t want to replace heater because a new one probably won’t last nearly as long as this one might.
