ECWI | Been going through some of my old brochures. Dad bought a David Brown 1212 in the 70s from local Case dealer. Tractor was a David Brown paint scheme before the rebranding with Case. 60hp with 4 speed poweshift. Pulled 4 row corn planter, small square baler, a lot of forage wagons, and finally in fall a manure tanker. This is tractor I cut my teeth on. One and only time I got my picture in the WI State Farmer in November 1983. Heat houser worked great. Was very reliable workhorse but had small oil leaks everywhere. Power shift was as smooth as most tractors today Eventually became too small and was sold outright. There were a ton of 990 models sold in the area but do not ever remember seeing another 1212.
*** Notice front push bar. Wet years we had wood bumpers on forage boxes. Had a New Holland self propelled chopper 1890 with hyd rear wheel assist. If too wet I would follow behind and push the box.
