SW OH | We used to have a 73 freightliner COE. NTA380, 2550 RPMs RTO12513, 4.11, and tall 24.5 tires. Speedo never worked. According to the math starting with the circumference of the tires it would go 98 MPH. I also got beside a car with a digital speedo and did the math from the RPMs that came out to 96 MPH. I drove the truck for 2 years before I figured out how fast I was going. Lucky for me I never got a speeding ticket in it.
